I slept fairly well for the first time in weeks. I catch up with my Team Leader Mk, before work. I tell him I will work the rest of the week but will have to schedule some appointments for tests the following week at short notice. He is very understanding and accommodating. The work is distracting and I feel calm but exhausted.

I decide to call my tumour Big Betty. I don’t know why but the name pops out during a conversation and it sticks.

Big Betty, I HATE you and I want you out.
