Oh no, we have to go back to Auckland today. Before we leave we go to the local craft market where we buy a hanging dried flower arrangement and Susannah buys some Japanese style pottery teacups. The vibe in Raglan is lovely, a bit hippy or alternative, and very artsy. We’d fit right in here and will definitely come back. We go out to brunch at Wyld, one of the local restaurants. The food is great and easily the best brunch we’ve had in over 4 years in NZ. I compliment the chefs as I pass by the kitchen. Finally, we can delay our return no longer and head back home. 

As I pack for my hospital stay I start to get anxious again. I still believe it is the right thing to do and I can’t wait for Betty to be removed, but I’m so nervous about what will happen afterwards.
