The weekend means no radiation treatments. I wake with another headache – I’ve had headaches around my left temple every day recently. I can also feel the start of a mouth ulcer on the left side. Halfway through the morning I start to experience severe stomach cramps. They come in waves and are excruciatingly painful; worse, I think, than I’ve ever had before. I go back to bed and lie curled up, riding out the pain as it moves down through my intestines. After an hour or so I am hit with diarrhoea but do feel better after. 

I’ve only had 3 doses of Radiation, surely this can’t be caused by that? It’s the weekend so there’s no one to consult but I write down my symptoms and will ask a nurse on Monday. I have some green tea, but it makes me feel sick so I take an anti nausea pill. That does the trick. I pretty much have a pill for everything and these days I am not afraid to take them.

Hopefully tomorrow will be better.
