I’m worried about my lack of drain. I’m getting puffy on the left side of my body and there appears to be no leakage from the drainage site. The liquid has to go somewhere, right? I worry myself into a state of anxiety and in the end I call nurse Ly to see what she recommends. She tells me that Dr Kt is in surgery but she will consult with her asap and get back to me. A few hours later I get a text message booking me a consult with Dr Kt tomorrow morning. If necessary they will manually drain the fluid with a giant needle – sounds fun!
