It’s been absolute chaos over the last week. We took possession of the new house and had to co-ordinate a 3-tier transfer of monies and keys on the day. That was probably the most stressful part of the whole process, especially as Susannah and I are first time buyers and had no idea how the whole thing would play out. But we got there in the end. Then there were the 2 physical moves – one for Mum and one for Susannah and me. Luckily we have a big family who were absolutely amazing both packing and shifting us in. The house is amazing and I still can’t quite believe it’s ours.

I take the morning off work and visit the doctor’s again for a Pap smear and B12 injection. Dr Y is reassuring and explains what might happen at the Breast Clinic. I am feeling uncertain but I do understand. It’s a waiting game. Stay calm and try not to panic. Just get through the next couple of weeks from the sound of it. Then life will be back to normal.

That evening I get a call from the hospital to book in for a biopsy on Tuesday. Shit, that was fast!
