It’s been a nice weekend. I feel ok, just a bit weak. I am taking all meds as prescribed so am managing well. I have no nausea and actually have an appetite which is a nice change. All food tastes a little weird. Not bad, just different, like the flavours are muted. Except for onions. Both the smell and taste of onions have been amped up to the point of overpowering.

I manage the 20 minute walk to New World and back which is the furthest I’ve been for awhile. My blood pressure seems to have stabilised and no longer get breathless just walking up the stairs or to the top of the driveway. 

We spend the weekend doing some slow chores and generally just hanging out. It’s lovely and we both feel nice and relaxed. 

I don’t have too much pain but I also haven’t seen Betty’s U-Haul come to pick her and her friends up – there does not seem to be any change in tumour or lump sizes or shapes so far.

I refuse to worry and enjoy the weekend.
