Shit. Auntie Ka and Uncle J have both tested positive for Covid. I spent some time in the kitchen last night talking to Ka and sat at the same table as J for a short time later in the evening. With so many people at our family events conversations are a bit like speed dating so hopefully we all moved about quick enough to avoid infection.

Susannah and I are both feeling very flat and unmotivated as we adjust to the recent cancer developments but still try remain positive and social for the festive season. In the early afternoon we decide to take a long walk in the local bush reserve behind our house to clear our heads. We try a new track and once again I find getting immersing myself in nature helps ground me. Must do it again. And again. As often as possible.
