The day starts out humid and overcast and promises to be a bit drizzly but we decide to go to the zoo. The drizzle becomes hard rain and we get completely soaked but it doesn’t matter.

We have a great time wandering around. I have my Olympus camera out for the first time in months and get a few good animal shots. I lose myself in the photography and remember again why I enjoy it so much. It’s the positioning, composing and waiting to capture a moment in time. It’s being 100% focussed and present in the moment and is about as mindful as you can get.
